Travel Scholarship
The meeting travel scholarships will be awarded to young investigators interested in attending AAISCR/AACR Annual Meetings. The following scholarships are available.

AAISCR-Dr. Raju Kucherlapati Family Fund Travel Scholarship for Career Development

AAISCR Travel Scholarship for Career Development
AAISCR supports this scholarship.
Scholarship Amount: $500.00/awardee
Eligibility:
- ● Travel scholarship for senior level postdocs/graduate students to attend a prestigious cancer research meeting in the USA (e.g., AACR annual meeting).
- ● Travel scholarshipfor junior faculty without enough funding to present his/her research at a national cancer research conference.
Terms and Conditions:
- ● The applicant should be of Indian origin (moved to USA or born in the USA) and affiliated to a US academic/research institution.
- ● The scholarship should be used to travel within the USA.
- ● The awardee should acknowledge "AAISCR-Dr. Raju Kucherlapati Family Found Travel Scholarship for career Development" or "AAISCR Travel Scholarship for Career Development",as appropriate, for this support in the abstract/poster presented/published. A copy of the publication should be submitted to AAISCR Scholarship committee Chairperson.
- ● Awardee should attend the AAISCR annual meetingto receive the award.
- ● Award funds should not be used for purposes not stated here.
- ● AAISCR scholarship committee will review and score the applications based on the information provided. Award will be given to the most meritorious and meaningful applicants.
- ● Applicants will be informed of the decision by the Scholarship Committee Chairperson by March of the award year.
Report your experience (mandatory):
- ● Submit one-page report to the AAISCR Scholarships Committee Chairperson Dr. Saraswati Sukumar (saras@jhmi.edu) within two months after attending the conference.
- ● The following should be included in the report:
- ● How this scholarship supported to advance your career?
- ● Did you meet scientists to develop your network, if so, where did you meet them?
